Iran didn't interfere in Bush v. Gore. Why should the U.S. interfere in Ahmadinejad v. Mousavi?

Why are so many politicians whining by the minute about U.S. not being involved in the Iranian election? Why?

Do they want the United States to rule the world? What is their logic?

Where is their outrage about the 50 million Americans without health insurance and probably another 50 million underinsured or inadequately insured?

Where is their outrage about the cost of higher education now unaffordable for more and more Americans?

When did this type of thinking take root in so many in the U.S.? Is it economics? Iranian oil? Iran's neighbor's oil? Is it religious fundamental fanaticism? Did the 19 thugs who drove planes into the buildings in 2001 cause a widespread lingering paranoia throughout America?

Hopefully this kind on nonsensical thinking will gradually fade away -- or at least greatly retract -- under President Obama's wise leadership.
